Orphan Network
www.orphannetwork.net About 3 years ago a missionary, and dear friend, from Orphan Network spoke in our church. His testimony was overpowering. The needs, as with most third world countries is staggering. However, it was not what he and other missionaries were doing for the orphans that prompted us to work with them. It was the blessings God revealed through the orphans and through that mission trip that brought us into action. His life and the life of many was visibly and permanently changed. CDS is not a part of Orphan Network, and we do not accept donations on their behalf. We provide financial support, and desire to see God’s will fulfilled for the orphan, orphanage, missionary and the church. (link to Orphan Network) (See Mathew 24:31-49) What Orphan Network Does Provide a safe, loving home with caring, Christian staff for children without families Feed, clothe, and provide medical care for children Educate children from the orphanage and the surrounding community Provide job training and vocational skill-building programs for older teens so they can successfully transition from the orphanage to college and the workplace How Orphan Network Does It Connect individuals, churches and organizations to orphanages for ongoing ministry opportunities Raise and send monthly support to orphanages for ongoing and one-time expenses. Develop self-sufficiency projects to create jobs that employ local residents and benefit the orphanage and surrounding community. Create short-term mission trips for people or groups interested in having a personal connection with orphans and a means to serve them |
